From the Rudolfinum to Luxembourg

On Thursday 8 October, a live screening of a concert by the Czech Philharmonic from Prague’s Rudolfinum took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Luxembourg.

A special music evening organised for our Luxembourg donors and friends of the Czech Philharmonic offered an opportunity to experience the concert atmosphere together, although remotely.

The meeting was held as part of the activities organised by Lux Friends of the Czech Phil, a community of supporters that helps foster relations between the Czech Philharmonic and its promoters in Luxembourg. 

For the Czech Philharmonic Foundation, such meetings make an important part of its care for international donors. They are not only an opportunity for a common musical experience, but also to strengthen relationships with people who share their love of classical music and interest in supporting the prime Czech orchestra.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Barbara Karpetová, the Czech Republic’s Ambassador to Luxembourg, for her kind support and hospitality, and to the ambassadors from among the Lux Friends of the Czech Phil for their dedication and assistance in developing the community of friends of the Czech Philharmonic in Luxembourg.
